“Lee and Graeme were fantastic…they make us want to do the wedding day all over again”

EPIC! is probably the only word we can find to describe Laura & Joes wedding…

It started out with glistening sunshine which suddenly turned into the hardest rainfall we think we have actually seen this year; The streets outside Joe and Laura’s looked more like a river! But that didn’t phase the bride to be Laura, hair and makeup done she stepped into her amazing dress and was ready for the day ahead.

The lads had a morning filled with family members flocking in; probably the most family members we’ve seen in one house! Traditional Italian shots/drinks with the guys just before they left for the church definatley helped calm the nerves.

As soon as the church service was over, it stopped raining and the sun came out to play 🙂

Onto Calke Abbey, The Riding School which had been adorned beautifully.  The table plan was simply amazing! you’ll see the pictures in a sec. The home made Italian breads and snacks were to die for, but we wouldn’t expect any less as after all Joe is a culinary expert and the massive Love letters really finished of the room perfectly.

It wasn’t long after everybody had finished their meals when one of the waiters started shouting for no reason? It turned out 3 of the waiters serving all that day were actually singing waiters. Without a doubt they made the wedding for us, they were incredible! They had everybody on their feet dancing, clapping and the smiles filled the room.

Italians really know how to party and as the evening guests arrived it went wild. We spent most the night on the dance floor with a crowd of people all linked together rushing forward to the centre of the dance floor to where Laura & Joe were dancing. Kinda like the Okay Koky but on a larger ‘I might get a black eye’ sort of scale.

Seeing aspects from a wedding of a different culture was great and definately made it one to remember 🙂
