Kate & Luke – Engagement Shoot at Osmaston Park
On April 12th, I had the pleasure of catching up with Kate and Luke for their engagement shoot at the stunning Osmaston Park, just outside Ashbourne. It was one of those classic spring days in Derbyshire — a mix of soft cloud cover and warm, golden sunlight breaking through just when we needed it. Perfect for photography and perfect for getting those relaxed, natural shots.
Kate and Luke were an absolute dream to work with. Super chilled, loads of laughs, and you can just tell how at ease they are together. We wandered through the grounds, making the most of the trees just starting to come into leaf and the views across the parkland (which are unreal by the way). There’s something special about capturing couples in a place that feels a bit like a secret — and Osmaston definitely has that vibe.
Their big day is coming up in July at Hanbury Barns Wedding Venue, and after this shoot, I honestly can’t wait. If their wedding has the same energy as this session, it’s going to be a proper good one.
