Background
I had always dreamt of getting married at The Riding School at Calke Abbey. Having shot at this stunning venue many times before, it had quickly become my favorite wedding venue. So, when my partner Adele and I got engaged, there was no doubt in our minds about where we would tie the knot. From the beautiful gardens to the historic architecture, everything about Calke Abbey exuded an air of elegance and sophistication, and I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
The Coordinators
The wedding coordinators at Honeysuckle & Castle, (now Ivy House Weddings) who manage the venue, were simply amazing. We immediately connected and their attention to detail and professionalism made the planning process smooth and stress-free. They were able to anticipate all of our needs and concerns and provided us with valuable guidance every step of the way. I felt like they truly cared about making our day perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with.
The Day
Our wedding day at The Riding School at Calke Abbey was truly the best day of my life. The beautiful venue, combined with the warm and attentive service provided by the coordinators, created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. I will always be grateful for the role the coordinators played in making our day magical, and I would recommend Calke Abbey as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable experience.
